claude mcp add --transport http soldgraph https://api.soldgraph.com/mcp \ --header "Authorization: Bearer $SOLDGRAPH_KEY"Three steps. No code.
You need a Soldgraph API key and Claude Code installed.
- Get a key. Create a free account, make a key and set it in your shell:
export SOLDGRAPH_KEY=sg_… - Add the server. Run the command on this page once. Check it with
claude mcp list. Soldgraph should show as connected. - Ask. Start
claudeand ask what something sold for. Claude asks before it runs a tool the first time.
Plain English in, real sales out.
The assistant picks the tools, runs the searches and answers with links to each listing.
“Price every item in inventory.csv from eBay sold listings and add a median column.”
Claude reads the file, runs one ebay_sold search per row and writes the medians back.
“What does a used Switch OLED sell for on eBay vs Mercari?”
Two searches, one answer: both medians side by side, with links to recent sales.
“Write a Python script that prints the median sold price for any keyword.”
Claude checks the real response shape with a tool call, then writes code against the HTTP API.
“Is eBay search healthy right now?”
api_status shows each marketplace's live health. It's free.
19 tools, all read-only.
One tool per search route. A completed search costs one request, the same as the API. Failed searches and the last three tools are free.

One prompt gives your assistant the endpoint, the sign-in header and how to wait for a result, so its first script works.
I'm building with the Soldgraph API. It returns sold and for-sale listings from eBay and other resale marketplaces. Read the docs first: https://soldgraph.com/llms.txt OpenAPI spec: https://soldgraph.com/openapi.json Rules for the code you write: - Base URL: https://api.soldgraph.com/v1 - Auth: send the header "Authorization: Bearer <key>". Read the key from the SOLDGRAPH_KEY environment variable. Never put it in browser code. - eBay sold prices: GET /ebay/sold?q=<search words>. Add count=200 for up to 200 rows. - A search often answers 202 with status "pending" and a poll_url. Request https://api.soldgraph.com plus poll_url with ?wait=20 and the same header, until status is "complete" or "failed". - Read result.summary for the median, low and high price. The rows are in result.data, each with title, displayed_price, sold_date and link. - Each completed search uses one request. A free account starts with 100 requests that do not refill, so save results while testing instead of repeating a search. Start with a short script that prints the median sold price for "nintendo switch oled". Then ask me what I want to build.
Yes. Run /plugin marketplace add soldgraph/soldgraph-agent, then /plugin install soldgraph@soldgraph. The plugin adds the same MCP server plus a Soldgraph skill that teaches Claude how to read prices, and it asks for your key once.
Your shell fills in $SOLDGRAPH_KEY when you run the command, and Claude Code saves the header in its own config. The key never goes into a prompt or your repo.
By default the server is added for the project you ran the command in. Add --scope user to the command to use it in every project.
Run claude mcp remove soldgraph. Revoke the key in your Soldgraph dashboard if you no longer need it.
One request per completed search. Pricing a list of 20 items is about 20 requests. Ask Claude to check account_usage first. That tool is free.

Yes. Point it at https://soldgraph.com/llms.txt and it has every route, field and error code. Use the MCP tools to explore, then have it write the script your app runs.
