Sold prices in Cursor. One block in mcp.json.
Connect Cursor's agent to Soldgraph's hosted MCP server. It can look up eBay, Poshmark and Mercari sold listings and live listings on six more marketplaces while it builds your app.
100 free requests · No credit card required

You need a Soldgraph API key and Cursor.
- Get a key. Create a free account, make a key and set
SOLDGRAPH_KEYin your environment. - Add the server. Paste the block on this page into
~/.cursor/mcp.json. Soldgraph and its tools then show in Cursor's MCP settings. - Ask the agent. Ask what something sold for, or give it a task that needs sold prices.
Plain English in, real sales out.
The assistant picks the tools, runs the searches and answers with links to each listing.
“Look up what this item sold for on eBay and use the real response shape for my types.”
The agent runs one ebay_sold search and writes types that match the rows it got back.
“Add a 'suggested price' field using the median sold price from Mercari.”
It checks mercari_sold for a sample item, then wires the API call into your code.
“Find Depop listings for vintage Levi's 501 under $40.”
depop_listings returns live listings with prices and links.
“How many Soldgraph requests do I have left?”
account_usage shows your plan and remaining requests. It's free.
19 tools, all read-only.
One tool per search route. A completed search costs one request, the same as the API. Failed searches and the last three tools are free.

One prompt gives your assistant the endpoint, the sign-in header and how to wait for a result, so its first script works.
I'm building with the Soldgraph API. It returns sold and for-sale listings from eBay and other resale marketplaces. Read the docs first: https://soldgraph.com/llms.txt OpenAPI spec: https://soldgraph.com/openapi.json Rules for the code you write: - Base URL: https://api.soldgraph.com/v1 - Auth: send the header "Authorization: Bearer <key>". Read the key from the SOLDGRAPH_KEY environment variable. Never put it in browser code. - eBay sold prices: GET /ebay/sold?q=<search words>. Add count=200 for up to 200 rows. - A search often answers 202 with status "pending" and a poll_url. Request https://api.soldgraph.com plus poll_url with ?wait=20 and the same header, until status is "complete" or "failed". - Read result.summary for the median, low and high price. The rows are in result.data, each with title, displayed_price, sold_date and link. - Each completed search uses one request. A free account starts with 100 requests that do not refill, so save results while testing instead of repeating a search. Start with a short script that prints the median sold price for "nintendo switch oled". Then ask me what I want to build.
Cursor can't see SOLDGRAPH_KEY. On a Mac, apps opened from the Dock don't read your shell profile. Quit Cursor and start it from a terminal where the key is set, for example with cursor ..
~/.cursor/mcp.json adds Soldgraph to every project. .cursor/mcp.json in a repo adds it to that project only. The key stays in your environment either way, so the file is safe to commit.
Yes, in the open-source repo github.com/soldgraph/soldgraph-agent. Copy it into ~/.cursor/plugins/local/soldgraph and reload the window. It adds the same MCP server plus a Soldgraph skill.
The Agent. Ask it a pricing question or a task that needs sold data, and it calls the tools when it needs them.
One request per completed search, the same as the API. Failed searches, account_usage and api_status are free.

Yes. Have it read https://soldgraph.com/llms.txt for every route and field. It can test a search with the tools, then write the code your app runs.
