eBay findCompletedItems replacement

Use eBay sold listings as the replacement for findCompletedItems. eBay decommissioned the Finding API, including findCompletedItems, in February 2025. Its public Browse API only returns active listings. Its sold-data API, Marketplace Insights, isn't open to new users.

Soldgraph searches eBay US sold listings by keyword and returns one page of results as JSON. You don't need an eBay developer account or partner approval.

#Differences to plan for

One page per request. A search returns one page of results, not a full sales history. Page through results if you need more rows.
Displayed prices. Sold prices are what the listing showed. Best offers and bundles can change what the buyer paid. See How prices work.
US only. Only eBay US is supported today.

#Common questions

Does eBay still have a sold items API? Only Marketplace Insights, which eBay says is restricted and not open to new users. See Marketplace Insights API alternative.

Can I get findCompletedItems data from the Browse API? No. The Browse API returns active listings only. See eBay Browse API vs Soldgraph.
