eBay Marketplace Insights API alternative
eBay's Marketplace Insights API has sold data but is closed to new users. Soldgraph gives you eBay sold listings as JSON without partner approval.

If you can't get Marketplace Insights access, use eBay sold listings. Marketplace Insights is eBay's only official API for sold items. eBay's docs say it is restricted and not open to new users. Soldgraph gives you eBay US sold listings with a key you can make in two minutes.

#When Marketplace Insights is the better choice
If you already have access, keep it. It's first-party data and it can search by GTIN, category and product. Soldgraph searches by keyword.

- You applied and are waiting, or were turned down.
- You also need active listings to compare against sold prices.
- You want the same kind of data from Poshmark and Mercari in the same format.

How do I get access to Marketplace Insights? Through eBay's partner program. eBay currently lists it as not open to new users.
