AI agents

Let an AI agent search eBay, Poshmark, Mercari and Depop listings through the Soldgraph HTTP API, using llms.txt or the OpenAPI spec.

An agent with an HTTP tool can call any search route with an API key, like eBay sold listings or Mercari active listings. Keep the key on your server, not in the prompt.

Tell the agent to:

  1. Send the search, then poll poll_url with ?wait=20 until status is complete or failed. See Search jobs.
  2. Treat each result as one page, not a full history.
  3. Say that displayed prices can differ from what the buyer paid.
  4. Link to each listing's link so people can check it.

Give the agent llms.txt or the OpenAPI spec so it knows the routes and fields. There's no hosted MCP server and no price-check tool yet.
